The Sauna Place sells saunas, sauna heaters, cold plunges and steam equipment to homeowners, contractors and businesses across the U.S. We've been doing it since 2004.

Meet the team
We're headquartered in Cookeville, TN, and most of our team works at the showroom or at our warehouse and workshop. Meet the people you're talking to, the ones building your sauna, and the ones making sure it gets delivered to you.
Our story
Our original founders rented a B&B in the Smoky Mountains that had a sauna. They loved it, couldn't find a U.S. business selling good saunas, and started one.
They grew into a respected provider, offering custom benching and running a small workshop and warehouse.
We expanded into our first warehouse space.
As the original founders looked toward retirement, Tim and Laura Marbach bought The Sauna Place and doubled down on the business.
We built our custom work into the premium Cedro Sauna brand and launched Heritage Sauna, our in-house sauna kit brand.
We tripled our warehouse and workshop space in Cookeville with the Humble location, and grew the team to match.
We turned the original Gould Drive warehouse into our showroom and sauna village.
Our second showroom opens near Greenwich, Connecticut.

FAQ
Our showroom, office and sauna village are at 1505 Gould Drive in Cookeville, Tennessee. Our warehouse and workshop, our "Humble" location, are just down the street. That site takes deliveries and shipments but isn't open to the public, so visit the showroom to see products on display, or the sauna village to try the models out. A second showroom opens near Greenwich, Connecticut in December 2026.
Yes. The showroom has saunas, heaters and cold plunges set up, and you can walk in without an appointment. For the outdoor sauna village, call ahead to book a time and we'll make sure they're heated for you.
Most in-stock orders ship in 48 to 72 hours. Custom Cedro builds and special orders take longer, and we'll give you a timeline with your quote.
Yes. If a qualifying retailer has the same product for less, we match it and give you 10% of the difference back. Custom, discontinued and financed items are among the exclusions.
We can offer installation within 4 hours of our headquarters. Farther out, tell us where you are and we'll connect you with a contractor in our network.
