The Fenix controller works seamlessly in our new sauna. It's well worth the upgrade if you're between a Fenix and Xenio to simply have the wireless control. Being able to heat the sauna up while on the way home from work or the gym adds such an ease to everyday life. Definitely recommend!

We have a 496 cu ft custom sauna built in our basement from 2006. The sauna heater was a Finnleo Pikkontuntu with the Digi Ii controller. But the last few years garble information started to appear on the controller requiring a reset. And the Digi Ii controller was discontinued in 2022.
Now that we plan to sell the house, I wanted the next owner to enjoy the sauna as much as we did but without any issues. I shopped around for replacement 9kw tower heater that would sit in the corner embedded into the benches. The Finnleo Himalaya was too expensive and then I came across a similar Harvia Cilindro model. Along with the Fenix Wifi touchscreen controller. The electricians did a fabulous job installing it and after a quick test, the 3 elements heated the new rocks quickly which feels hotter than the old sauna heater. I also like the 3 heat shields that protect the walls and benches.
What is also different is a new control box that sits perfectly in a closet behind our sauna. Since it has clear glass fuses, I no longer need the disconnect box with dual large fuses. I also like the Fenix high tech touchscreen controller. Very intuitive and easy to increase or decrease the temperature or use pre-built temperature settings.
We will definitely utilize the sauna often till we move to our new home next Spring. And definitely look to using Harvia products when we have another sauna built.
