The Mr.Steam CU-HTC High Limit Control adds over-temperature protection to compatible commercial steam generator systems. It monitors steam room temperature and provides an automatic shutoff and alarm function. If the steam room temperature rises above the 120°F set point, the device sounds an alarm. It also disconnects the heating source to help prevent continued temperature rise. After an over-temperature event, the system cannot be immediately restarted. An attendant must reset the device and steam generator after the room cools below the set point. The CU-HTC can serve as an emergency stop switch for electronically shutting down the steam generator. Multiple steam stop switches can also operate with one control. Its IP69K water-resistant rating supports installation inside or outside the steam room. The hardwired control is built from plastic, metal, and electronic components. The CU-HTC is designed for commercial steam applications and is required where indicated by applicable code. It is UL and CSA certified.
