Note: Over time, the natural red cedar will develop a silvery-gray patina from UV exposure, which many homeowners enjoy for its weathered look. This natural aging can be minimized by applying a UV-protective wood stain. For colder climates, it is not recommended to leave the unit outside during freezing conditions, as trapped water may cause damage—draining and storing the shower during winter is advised.
