The Heritage Sauna® 1HP Cold Plunge Chiller combines cooling and heating in one compact system, so you can keep a consistent water temperature without hauling ice, waiting for water to cool, or guessing whether your plunge is ready. It can be used indoors or outdoors under cover. Because the unit is not waterproof, it must be fully protected from rain, snow and standing water. The chiller operates in temperatures from 32–113°F (0–45°C) and cannot withstand freezing, so if temperatures may drop below 32°F, drain it after each use or move it indoors.
For reliable operation, the chiller requires a dedicated 120V, 15A circuit with no other appliances on the same breaker. Plug it directly into the outlet without extension cords or power strips, and keep the plug and cord dry and off the ground. Outdoor setups need a weatherproof outlet with an in-use cover. Before each use, test the GFCI plug by pressing TEST, then RESET, and do not use the chiller if the power does not cut off.
