Harvia Linear 22 Greenflame Wood Burning Sauna Stove

Growing up in a Finnish family, sauna has been part of my life since I was a kid. Friends, relatives, many of them had saunas and they would often be part of family get-togethers and such. My wife (Non-finnish) got her first sauna experiences while we were first dating and has grown to love the experience and health benefits that they bring. We finally decided to build our own outdoor sauna after doing some research, and The Sauna Place seemed like the most reputable supplier that could ship to us and give us the best price. We decided to go with the Harvia Linear 16 and are very glad that we did. It heats up our sauna well (interior dimensions are approx 7’2”W by 5’10”D by 7’10” height. It so far has been easy to maintain (cleaning out the ash box) and heats up our stones well. Additionally, it is designed well and we do not feel any harsh radiating heat coming from where we sit in the sauna, and are able to enjoy the nice convection heat that is provides. This heater paired with the Harvia stones give us good steam when throwing water onto the rocks.
