Tikkurila Supi Clear Sauna Wax (0.9 Liter) is a water-borne, natural-wax treatment created to protect interior sauna wood while keeping its color and grain visible. Ideal for benches, paneling, ceilings, doors, and window frames, it penetrates deeply and dries to a silky matte finish that won’t look plastic or overly glossy in warm light. The wax-enriched formula helps sauna wood resist sweat, moisture, and everyday abrasion, so surfaces stay cleaner and more sanitary between sessions. Easy to apply with low odor, this 0.9 L size is perfect for home saunas or smaller refresh projects where you still want professional-level results. The result is a unified, moisture-shedding surface that stays beautiful through repeated heating cycles.

Bought the 2-person sauna for my wife to replace a very old hot tub surrounded by the deck. It went together flawlessly, with great instructions and all parts well labelled. Was impressed with the quality of fitting (and I've been making fine furniture for many years). I had to switch the door from the left to the right for the situation, and there were no problems. The 2 extra rails that were provided were not needed in my case, but allowed me to make an inside step and outside finials (with copper tops). I put a cedar shake roof over the provided rolled roofing. I used the wax to seal the floors and seats, and it went on easily. The pictures show the sauna from the upper deck and from the ground. The third is the view out the window. Looking forward to the first snowfall!

My local lumber guy had a bunch of basswood sitting around. So I used that for my interior. I love that it is very light and it makes for a very cheerful sauna experience but being a lighter wood it does require some protection from staining. Supi Clear Sauna Wax is ideal. Goes on easily and is a breeze to clean up afterwards.

The sauna was arrived on time and we already have applied it. It is a great product and we noticed a difference right away. Highly recommend ordering from The Sauna Place and using this particular product for your sauna!

This wax was perfect. My daughter and I applied it quickly. It went on great and a little goes a long way! I ordered two jugs because our sauna is 8 by 6 plus 4 by 6 changing room and we only used half of one.
