My local lumber guy had a bunch of basswood sitting around. So I used that for my interior. I love that it is very light and it makes for a very cheerful sauna experience but being a lighter wood it does require some protection from staining. Supi Clear Sauna Wax is ideal. Goes on easily and is a breeze to clean up afterwards.

This wax was perfect. My daughter and I applied it quickly. It went on great and a little goes a long way! I ordered two jugs because our sauna is 8 by 6 plus 4 by 6 changing room and we only used half of one.
